In-app Personalized Onboarding Tour

To improve early engagement and deliver a more personalized onboarding experience, we launched a personalized onboarding tour inviting customers what matters most to their business at this stage.

Results Summary:

The experiment drove a 18.64% lift in transacting customers within 7 days of tour engagement, with 85% statistical confidence—indicating a strong correlation between relevance and early product activation.

Milestones

Content sent to North One customers depending on

actions they take within the mobile app.

Results Summary:

64.7% of customers who received the marketing made a card transaction, compared to 39.43% of the control group. 7.5% of customers who received the marketing created an Envelope, compared to only 1.7% in the control group. This represents a 338.6% lift, though differences in sample sizes may affect statistical significance.

Welcome Bonus

For every $1,000 a customer deposits (up to $10,000) in their first 30 days with North One, we will deposit $25 into their account. This campaign was created in order to increase the number of funded and transacting accounts.

Subscription Upsell

A campaign to get North One Standard customers to upgrade to the Plus plan because they could save money by paying the $20/month fee.

New Customer Onboarding

A personalized onboarding experience depending on customer's profile attributes and actions taken in North One's product.

Results Summary:

Customers in the new onboarding journey funded their accounts at a rate 80.95% higher than the old journey, with a 98.43% confidence level.

Card Received / Not Activated

To drive transactions and improve customer retention, North One implemented an activation campaign for customers who received but hadn’t activated their business debit card.
